You are absolutely right. If Al Gore had been elected we would not
be in a war. Because we would sitting on a smoking pile of
rubble, unable to fight back.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.
Thank you very much, while you're up

No kidding. They would be even more miserable because there would have been many 9/11's. Because liberals and democrats would have done nothing in the wake of 9/11, more attacks on American soil would have happened. Democrats would not have used phone taps, traced money or anything to stop further attacks. Democrats could have lived with the fact that 10, 20 thousand Americans die in terror attacks, just as long as we didn't piss of the global community. 'Cause you know, that would suck.

No one could have predicted 9/11.
Okay maybe we could have, I know, but still. You get up there and make a decision that keeps EVERYONE of our millions of citizens happy and justifies 9/11, or the alleged WMDs, and deals with Hussien and Bin Laden. You'll see how easy it is.
Or not so easy.
Bush is not a bad guy, just made some mistakes. I am not for the war, just offering a different perspective to view it from.

Had Al Gore been pres on 9/11/01, he would have spent the rest of his term cowering under his desk while terrorists attacked us with impunity.

Sorry to disillusion you, but we would be at war regardless. al Qaeda is waging war on us, and so is the Taliban. No one knows what Gore might have done about the 9/11 attacks, but if he mimicked his predecessor, it would have been ineffective.

If Al Gore was president 9/11 would have happened but people would have forgotten because of what happened on 9/12, 9/13 and 9/14. He wouldn't have done anything. Terrorism is one thing, but to him, global warming is much worse

That's right. Al Gore would have probably also helped get my dad's solar business more federal funding and I would be a millionaire right now. But you can't live your life on "what-if's". So just smile and be happy it's not you over there.

I know I feel sorry for all those family that lost someone. It is sad. I pray every day for my best friends older brother to come home safe. He is in Iraq right now. He does get to come home until January.

Yeah, they can't count in Florida I guess...lol...
Al Gore in the present and in the past has done some good things.
He made it possible for Battered Women to obtain a different identity for the safety of the women/mother and her children. Background check included I'm sure.
Has The "dick" done anything worthwhile? Don't keep up with the Reps, other than watching "their war," on TV>
I would like to rent Al Gores new movie, but haven't had time yet.

Only the dumbest are just now starting to realize this. Most of us have known it all along.
The outcome corresponds less to expectations in war than in any other case whatsoever
- Livy
Yes ethan, I think we can safely assume al gore would not have declared pre-emptive war in Iraq. Doesn't take a crystal ball to determine that.
