He didn't get punched. It was a publicity stunt. Just something crazy that he thought of to do for an act. I guess he wanted to make fun of the 'Michael Richards' incident.
After the video circulated the Internet, he began getting calls from all the major television networks wanting to do an interview with him. Supposely, it really helped his career. I guess that is what you have to do when your in the entertainment business, if you fall near the bottom and want to quickly rise back up to the top again.
Pauly Shore's 'weasel' character is entertaining though. Not so much the 'weasel' thing he does, but just the way he acts. Its entertaining!

Poor Pauly, stupid drunks in the audiences. Pauly Shore did nothing to physically provoke the guy, and then the crowd cheers after he gets hit. I wish the video had the argument leading up to the attack.

Yeah he got punched it was all over the radio this morning. When I got home looking at the video it looks so staged. You can tell by the way the guy punches Pauly. TMZ even said the same thing. If you believe this video you probably believe in WWF...LOL!
