i make like at least 20 friends in the beginning of the year,
which is great. right?
well by the end of the year, i have like 5 out of those 20 friends still with me.
& yes, i do make new friends but they`re never TRUE ones.
i don`t know why.
i NEVER use them, i`m ALWAYS there for them or at least i try to be
& its like, they don`t understand me.
just when i think they`re a reaaal genuine friend & i tell them my secrets,
& the next day, they HATE me!
they just get mad at me & ignore me :[
its` sooo not fair.
i thought if i was a true friend to someone,
they`d be true to me back.
kinda like, the whole in order to have a bestfriend, you need to BE a bestfriend.
well i have NO good friends :(
i wish and pray everyday that the lord will send me someone
but it just never happens.

you are tooooo honest with these new friends try holding some of yourself back i have been in the same situation and have learnt alot of hard lessons.. now i am a little smug and find that these so called friends are seeking me out for my good advise,, dont fall for the trap stay cool, be true to yourself and you will find that the best friend you have in this life is the person you see in the mirror every dddaaayyy ...keep happy

You might need to re-think your definition of a true friend. You want a friend that can be honest to you. But, if they are accusing you and making up stories about you, then they're not a true friend. There's a quote that says: A quarrel between friends, when made up, adds a new tie to friendship.” –St Frances De Sales. I you and a friend can make up, and become closer, then that person is a true friend. Making friends can be rocky- when you are getting to know that person. And there will be obstackles that you and your friend will have to face, maybe dissagreements or differences. But, like the quote, you will have bonded more after the argument has settled. You constantly learn more about your friend. Everyday. So don't quit on them so easily. be persistant and keep the relationship going. Building a strong friendship can be really hard, but it's the most worthit work you can ever do in life.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you because I have the same problem. I, too, try to be very friendly and listen to them but in the end I have NO friends to count on.
Well, OK, I have one true friend but I always wonder for how long?

no favor to ask for forgiveness, we are used to it. to respond to your question, the guy that continually has the most "associates", in different words, the universal individual, virtually in no way has authentic associates. the 2d the guy famous out something un cool about them: i.e. they prefer anime (for some reason, that's somewhat unpopular between the universal human beings. (some circumstances), they chop up. i have continually been a real pal to my associates, even with the reality that one replaced right into a nightmare, and that i have continually given my all in friendships, yet i have in no way been universal, and that i have not had more effective than one actual pal at a time. it truly is authentic because human beings will be associates with universal human beings purely to be close to the recognition.

You say that you tell them your secrets and then they hate you. Well stop doing that. You can have good friends and you dont have to tell them every secret that you have. Just try encouraging your friends and being nice. Your friends dont have to know your past just make them feel good when they are around you and they will alawys be your friend.

this may sound lame, but play hard to get. dont always be there when they need you. they may feel like you are the firend that they can just use. did you ever think of that?
