No. there is no such thing as a completely dead person "on the inside". If they are depreesed, so depressed that they are thinking about suicide, then someone should help them find a reason to go on. They must have SOME kind of passion. People become unhappy by choice. For some reason they LIKE to be sad. They like self-pity. But then that turns into dread and serious twisted psycologies inside their head, and they think they know for a fact that everything has gone wrong and there is not way to fix it. And I'm not just some person who thinks they know what they're talking. I myself have delt with depression and anger myself. I find every nit-picky thing that might mean someone doesn't care. But they need to realize that that is not true. If other people can find happines after depression, why can't they?

Speaking as someone who has been "walking dead" many times, when a person dies on the inside, you need to find something to fill the void that has been created. It's not easy and it doesn't happen overnight, but that is what you do.

If you are considering suicide, talk to someone, anyone NOW. The greatest surprise you might have at this moment is just how many people care about you.

Sounds logical but, it doesn't work that way. Hitler knew what he was. He ended it because if they found him, they'd have hanged him. The average dirtbag on the street, in a uniform, or in a clandestine govo capacity knows he's an animated turd, but they don't snuff it, now do they? Even vermin, wants to stay alive. Hope this helps.
