It's not snowing here right now, but that's not unusual for the Seattle area. However, that wasn't the case a couple of weeks ago - we had snow in November, which is quite odd for this area. It wasn't much - just four or five inches in most places - but since people here aren't accustomed to it, there were big-time traffic jams. I lived in Colorado for seven years, so I'm used to it, and I enjoyed it, but I think everybody else around me was miserable! It was gone in a couple of days, and most of today has been sunny, believe it or not.
I'm just west of the Cascades, and it wouldn't surprise me all if it were snowing up there, of course. Ski season is in full swing here, and the skiers are happy!

I'm near Montreal and there's been a grand total of two storms that have left snow on the ground for a few days, one in October and another a little over a week ago. There are only a few traces left of the latest storm, everything has pretty much melted.
It feels more like April outside than December. I remember 20 some years ago as kid how December was pretty much guaranteed to be cold and have snow on the ground. Now it's pretty much hit and miss these last 10 years.
I've been looking at the longterm forecast and right now, there's nothing but above average temperatures predicted until after Christmas. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes of getting some of the white stuff, but it doesn't look like it'll happen right now.

Here in Charleston, SC its lightly raining and going to be a beautiful 70 degree day. If we see snow in Charleston people freak out because we don't know what it is. We have seen it maybe once or twice in 10 years. Our winter days range from 50-70 degrees. I WANT SNOW!!!

it was a comfy day out today and completly dry right now in the mountains NC. But to get in the christmas spirit we had a middle age woman play santa today at work and she started having hot flashes, and everyone could tell. But shet kept singing christmas carols (even though she had to lower her beard to get the cool air on the face..) Now that the spirit of christmas!

Florida -- Does NOT usually snow -- and if the temps are that low -- the snow melts BEFORE it hits the ground down here ... (a rare occurance indeed) ....
