Gears of war and Call of duty 3 imo.
Gears has the future stuff that I like , cod3 because its set in ww2 which is something that actually happened.

It's a toss up between Gears and Rainbow Six: Vegas. I'll have to go with Gears simple because it has such phenomenally innovative gameplay. And RSV, while fantastic in its own right, doesn't really bring anything new to the table.
