Washers are easily leveled. While it is empty, reach behind the control panel and tilt the washer toward you raising the back a few inches, then just sit the washer back down on its backside. Voila !!

First, make sure that the washer is sitting flat on the floor. There are 4 legs of the bottom of the washer, each of which can be unscrewed (to lengthen them) or screwed in (to shorten them). If the legs are set properly, you should be able to grab the sides of the washer and shake it, without the washer moving.
If this does not solve the problem, you may have a mechanical problem with the washer.

contact the manufacturer, they have 1-800 #'s and will tell you how to do it. my Whirlpool just needs the front legs leveled, then you tip the washer towards yourself a couple of inches and lower the back down slowly and it is leveled. but if you have a load go out of balance and that moves the machine you will have to re-level it. do not put something on top to try and hold it in place. do not put the machine up on blocks or a pallet. and take large items or heavy items to the laundromat like i do. rubber backed bath rugs and comforters are better done in a front loader there.

Your washer is not level on the floor. Get a level andcheck. When you figure out which of the 4 legs is off simply adjust it by turning the end of the leg. They are adjustable. You may need to this every few years or so.

Your washer is not level.Put a level acroo the top. The four feet are threaded. Screw them up or down as needed.Sometimes a rubber foot falls off and that makes it out of plume.

When you put your wash in, it must be distributed properly, if you have too much on one side and then it gets wet, and now its heavier than the other side. That's why your washer jumps, Take the wash and move it around and then let it spin again, and it will be fine.

You can buy small metal pieces that screw down to the floor holding the legs of the machine in place. Check at hardware stores or where you buy washers.

I read all your answers. Turn your washing machine off. Place a level on the top.Now on the bottom,on each corner is an adjustable foot. You can turn it to raise or lower it..Level your machine right to left, then front to back.If it still vibrates, then call a repairman.
