I'm an Executive/Personal Assistant and my boss wants me to do his traffic school online for him. Besides the fact that I REALLY don't want to do this, isn't this illegal? Can he get in trouble for it?

Not only can he get in trouble for it, you can too. You would be committing a fraud against the court as well as against the provider of the traffic school. If there is anything that he has to sign saying he completed the course, you would also be an accomplice to forgery.

He's asking you to do something not just wrong and unethical, but also something that very well may be a felony.

Don't do it.

That's screwed up. Next month he wants you wants you to lie to his wife so he can meet his little honey on the side for a wild weekend. Or WORSE, the IRS sends him an audit notice and he demands YOU shred documents.

I guess you could keep your head low & do ithe traffic thing but IMMEDIATELY look for another job with an ethical boss.

I smell another ENRON in the works.

You bet it's illegal. He broke the law and he's trying to make you pay the price for it. I would mention to him that this is ethically wrong and you might take legal action. Technically, he can't fire you for not doing the traffic court.

I wouldn't do it. He's asking you to do something illegal. Use common sense and tell this jerk NO! You can get in trouble too.

Why don't you just do it and use it as ammunition in the future. Heck, I would be plotting a blackmail and a raise soon enough.

If you turn him in, you will be the new boss.
