Which is better the PS3 or the Nintendo Wii??

wii is cheaper by 250 dollars (double the wii price). and most people want the better ps3 which has wireless internet, sd slots and a bigger hard drive. if u care:

first off. I USED TO LOVE SONY/PLAYSTATION. but then the price raise to 600 dollars. the 500 dollar doesnt come with wifi and a smaller hard drive and no sd slots, but i went with the wii. like the ps3, the wii has motion sensor technology, but on top of that it has pointing sensors and twisting sensor and speed sensor (all in one). but it depends on wat games you want. if u want shooters, and mgs4, then go for ps3. if u want mario and super smash bros go for the wii. the ps3 can play ps2 games but i heard it is having troubles. the wii can play gamecube and you can download old games from nes, snes and n64. if u like sitting down while playing, get the ps3. if u want a next generation player, get ps3 its blue ray. if u want an HD gaming system WITH AMAZING GRAPHICS get the ps3. obviously u can still get better graphics with a ps3. but i hope this helps. I have a wii because the ps3 if too expensive. and o ya wii graphics. depends on game. ranges from gamecube to xbox (original graphics), but some games like mario and wii sports u dont need the graphics cuz its like animation. and o ya ps3 does have hdmi but not included and wii has a better cable that supports 480p but it doesnt come with it either. wii comes with wii sports

It depends what your looking for.... I'd say Wii... although it doesn't have the best graphics... it's a very good console... and it has better games... in my opinion.
PS3 has had a lot of bugs, but has good games too. A bug with the Wii was that the strap on the "Wii-mote" came off and the "wii-mote" flew into their Television.... But it ultimately depends. Another thing about the Wii is it costs less, and you can also get the Virtual Console games... which are N64, Super Nintendo... and all that stuff.

Both are awesome consoles, but the answer really depends on what you're looking for.

The Wii is affordable, and has a plethora of quirky, innovative games for it. Plus a totally revolutionary control system.

While the PS3 has fantastic graphics and loads of multimedia features. And it supports the new 'Blu-Ray' disc technology, which has the potential to revolutionize movies and gaming.

Nintendo Wii looks fantastic as you can move with the action of the joystick, it gives a realistic feel to the gameplay.

Well i know what in talking about, but theres no answer to that. the only thing i can tell you is pros and cons. Wii may have motion sensers and low prices. But it takes sony about $840.00 to produce one ps3, with the hard drive, and blue ray drive. your gettin a freakin deal when you buy a ps3 ! plus ps3 has motion sensers too. Built in the sixaxis controller. The ps3 is buetuiful theres no denying that, it youses a cell cpu processer and boosts up to 1080i or p with hd picture. But it was just realesed so you cant judge its bad software games. WII is really great its very small easy to fit in places. Has the news, the weather, you can buy old 64 or snes games for it on the hardrive. sensers work perfectly ! but,...its remote youses batteries. may not sound bad but its sorta a real drag. ps3 youses a built in rechargable battery (awsome). But in my personal opinion,........PS3. It is amazing. normal controller, motion sensers, rechargable contoller, sleek glossy design, blue-ray, Futer sofware is predicted to be amzing. thats the way i see it. i really hope i helped you. P.S. this was hard to wright for me cause i have both ! bought them on launch date. love em both.
