Many people have gotten out of the dangerous "sharpshooter," but there is a less percentage of people who have gotten out of the Crippler Crossface. It is tighly wrapped around your face, and so you can't breathe. After a while, if you still don't sybmit, it can break your nose.

Plus, Chris Benoit can also perform the sharpshooter perfectly, but Bret Hart can't perform the Crippler Crossface.

That's a tough one. Both of them are the top two submission wrestlers of all time (as well as Kurt Angle), and even though Bret Hart is my all time favorite wrestler, I am going to have to go with Chris Benoit because he is so quick at getting submission moves on people (he can get wrestlers into the Crippler Crossface in only about a second), not to mention that they are always perfectly executed, also The Crippler Crossface is much harder to get out of than The Sharpshooter, hell the only way you can get out of it really is if you are close to the ropes or you can muster your strength and either stand up or roll him over. I hope that answers your question.

You can get out of a sharpshooter by simply rolling over, in the other hand, the more you try to move away from the crossface, the bigger the pain goes on the neck, shoulder, and upper arm. The only way to really reverse a crossface is by outstrength your opponent's arms, and have you seen Benoit's arms lately?

Thus, Chris Benoit via, mmmm submission, of course!

This is a good question, and would be a great match but the winner would be Bret Hart

Benoit, purely on the fact that you try to pull out of the Crossface you'll severely injure yourself, like others have said, you roll over and you can get out of a sharpshooter
