I know this mother that is so close to her 60 year old son. She has a picture of him @ 60 years of age on her key chain. She also has another photo with him and her hand is on his lap. She always talks about him day and night. Even when she dreams about him she wakes up yelling his name. As a housekeeper, they even go on vacations together, and I talked to her friends, and they said when the go on vacation "they play with each other". Can this mother and son really being sharing the same bed.
And when they stare at each other across the table it's as if they are in love with each other and communication like lovers. Would sleeping with mom be elder abuse? Or your thoughts?

Yes, the mother is 90 years of age, and he even massages her feet every night before going to bed. I've seen it.

It's "incest" and it sounds like it has been going on for years. I don't think it's "elder abuse" and I also don't think I'd get "involved" if I were you.
Sadly, some people choose a lifestyle that most of us can't understand and don't agree with. If that is what they choose to do with their lives, it's really none of your business.
I'm sure you have more important things to concern yourself with this holiday season - forget about it.

Well, in my opinion, she could just be a very over protective and overbearing mother and she probably was that way his whole life and she never knew how to let go. He probably was and always will be a mama's boy and that he loves her so much that he will do anything for her and he might feel obligated to taking care of her because she always took care of him all of her life. She could have been a single parent and he might be an only child and the way she always treated him, he might have turned to a gay lifestyle or he has his mother and he doesn't need another woman in his life. I know some of their actions could be disturbing and questionable, but, maybe this went on for years and they don't think anything about it and that was their lifestyle. I wouldn't really worry about them sleeping together or elder abuse, unless any more questionable actions surface, they could just be very close as mother and son, unless it turns into like Norman Bates and his mother!

he is 60 and she is what? 90. Maybe they are really close and all they have is each other. But sleeping with mother who may be disoriented or not is abuse in so many different levels.

Well now: Don't you believe it takes all kind to make the world go around? They have their little world and haven't hurt anyone, right. All the druggies running around, the alcoholics and the wife beaters and rapists and child molesters, common, you must have someone else to talk about.
Why don't you go to church this Sunday and pray for them. God doesn't need holy people to help, they can help themselves, he needs people like these so, if you go to church and bring Him their names, I'd bet He'd be grateful.

I seriousley doubt that they sleep together but it does sound like a very unhealthy relationship. If this guy never got married it is probably partially her fault.

Oh sick!!!Actually it aint considered abuse if it's wanted.It's probably been going on for along time too.Which makes it MORE gross.Guess she's keeping it in the family....
