I think so. Their clothes are nothing special and are poorly made to boot. Not to mention overpriced and associated with unlikeable types of people. Their store is also sleazy and peddles smut to kids, and it's allegedly racist.

I am in my 20's and have never bought a single item from Abercrombie. Why? It's not because I can't afford it. I'm a regular in Nordstroms, Banana Republic, Macy's, Ann Taylor, J.Crew, Victoria's Secret, ect. I honestly feel Abercrombie is overrated and poor quality of clothing for the price. American Eagle is the same style of clothing for a lot cheaper. And not to be rude, but no 8 year old needs to be wearing Abercrombie. I buy clothing that is expensive not because of the "name brand" but because of the quality. And I pay for it myself. A respectable and caring child should not ask their parents to pay for clothing from Abercrombie when there is hunger and homeless people living around the world.

It's not a bad place to shop. It's extremely sexual though, and in a ridiculous fashion. I mean, the clothes are great but the over-the-top super-trendy way the stores present them is kind of gaudy. If you're looking to save cash you can find A & F clothes for at least half off at TJ Maxx or Marshalls.

I think the price is absolutely ridiculous! I'm not that stupid to spend $50 dollars on a shirt. You get get so much for your money at a place like Aerpostale, and it's still stylish! They have little kids in third world countries working for so little each week. They will make the earnings in a lifetime of the price of a t-shirt you buy there.

If it is your style and you can spend the money on it, then go right on ahead. I change my style from day to day so I cerainly don't have a full wardrope of abercrombie but definatly have some stuff from there, i like the jeans.

Well, it turned into a fashion sense to it will make no sense anymore to shop there if everyone's going to wear the same exact thing

it's really not bad at all but a lot of times, the clothes can be really expensive which kinda gets frustrating cuz all the stuff is soo cute! but you shouldn't stop shopping there just cuz you're friends don't like it, they're probably just jealous cuz they can't afford it
