I'm blonde- light golden tones almost platinum white (few shades darker).
I have brown eyes and tan skin with a little olivish/redish tone.
When I use foundation, my face seems dried out.
What colors would be best for me as far as blush and eyeshadows/lipgloss ?

Also, does anyone know of a foundation that creates a dewy like finish? I don't like the matte look- too dry for me.

Thanks!

Not that you need any help (WOW) but get the book "Making Faces" by Kevyn Aucoin.

It rocks.

You can get a dewy look from pretty much any liquid foundation. Try mixing a bit of liquid foundation with your regular facial moisturizer on the back of your hand and applying it with a makeup sponge/wedge. Doing this dilutes the foundation a little and makes it more sheer. Having it mixed with moisturizer will also help keep your face from looking "chalky" or dry, which can happen if you have any dry patches or blemishes.
Also, using a makeup sponge helps the foundation go on evenly, as using your fingers doesn't always blend it completely. You can even wet the sponge and squeeze out any excess water before applying the makeup. Skip powder, and enjoy!

I'm glad you like MAC, bc for a dewy finish I recommend their liquid SPF foundation. You also could mix it with some moisturizer before applying, or use MAC Strobe Cream on top of it in all those light catching places.

And obviously, only use powder in your T-zone.

For colors, I'd say use Navy on your eyes and icy pink on your lips and cheeks.

Btw, I checked out your online boutique...I like the Posh collection.

You can go to the make-up counter at a MAC outlet (can be found in your local mall department store) and they will fix you up with what colors to buy... and a light sparkle pink gloss would make your platnum highlights shimmer more. Or a really shiny bright color.

I would go with an extreamly natural foundation.
