In addition to some of the great advice up there....have you found those really small razors made just for that area? They are about 1/3rd of the size and are great. Just be sure to change them often to avoid razor burn. Check WalMart or Target they usually have them or do an on-line search for them. They are an awesome invention!

Sweety........ shaving is sooooo last season.... You should try bikini Nair! It works great!! and lasts twice as long as shaving.... you will never go back to shaving once you try nair....
But......If you insist on shaving.... always have a clean fresh blade, and relax. When you come to a bumpy area, try to spread the skin to flatten it out....... while holding the skin, lightly brush the razor over it and find the right amount of pressure.... Just be careful, Little nicks down below are painful and can get infected if your not careful.... Thats the best thing about Nair, you dont have to worry about nicks and cuts.....
Good Luck!

Always use a fresh blade, don't press too hard, don't cover the same area with too many strokes (two should be sufficient... one with the grain, and one against, unless you are sensitive skinned, in which case always go with the grain). Use a moisturizing shave lotion... and I can't emphasize this last bit enough:
take. your. time.
It's not like legs where you can just zip through em in the shower and hardly pay any attention. You need to take a while about it. If you aren't flexible enough to see very well, a hand mirror will help you. Pulling the skin taut (gently!) will help you keep from nicking yourself, but you need to be able to see what's going on.

Hello. Have you tried using wax with the strips? I know it's painful to snatch off but it gives me the desired results. I hope this is useful. Also if you want to shave, I would spend a lot of time (slowly) until you get the hang of it. Take Care.

1. fresh razor blade
2. put a warm towel or let warm water over the area with hair. ( this is only to relax the hair
3. put shaving cream and shave in the way the hair is growing

One of the best things my sister ever gave me was a trip to a salon for a bikini wax. It lasts on me for about 4 months then some stubble starts to show then i wax myself. I love it and recommend it.

Either use a mirror or get a professional to wax your bikini area.

Practice...be careful and do it by feel...you'll get the hang of it...if you have a partner, perhaps they'll shave that area for you.
