Could you all please notice that I made no mention of the pantsness of the bulk of the show? I was merely referring to the surprising Ferris Bueller trip at the very end... and Ken Dodd sucks the big one, and not in a good way.

And apologies and kudos to Franja - the only other person who actually recognised the basis of the tunes...

Oooh, well spotted (thumbs up to you!)...and, yes I did enjoy it - but then I'd enjoy watching John Barrowman read the phone book (yes, I know he's gay - but a girl can dream can't she?)

What a load of cack.

Ken Dodd, the 3 Billy Elliot kids tap-dancing, and the quick-change magic act, were just about the only good ones on there.

Barry Manilow as tuneless as ever....then there was talentless Barryman hogging the whole thing coming back on every 10 minutes....god knows what that amateur camelot thing was that went on and on and on for ages....some horrendously painful wizard of oz rip off.....and worst of all some crappy American thing with half-made puppets held by people where you could see their lips move....whats the point of that? either learn proper ventriloquism or wear all black suits so that you can't see the puppeteers......

p.s. what's happened to take that? they looked like they'd been dragged in from cardboard city for a mug of soup.

Who the **** is Ferris Thing and what did he do on the RCP?

PS And Ken Dodd was easily the funniest comedian on it. The others were rubbish.
