I have this friendn that likes this guy, but she doesn't know if he likes her, so should I set them up or not, even if she's to shy to say to him that she likes him and doesn't want you to?

She might just be saying no because she's so shy about it. I think you should at least find out if the guy likes her and then maybe have the three of you hang out sometime like all three goin to the mall to hang out or something.

Instead of setting them up on a date, why not do a group outing with your other friends (like a picnic or hiking) so that your friend and the guy can get to know each other without being too obvious. Your friend may just be very shy and don't want to risk rejection.

I say go for it. Depending on what the guy is like. If he's the type to spread the word around, "oh so and so likes me", then maybe i'd just lay out a couple hints and see if he bites. If he's a real nice guy. Ask him I think u and my friend would make such a cute couple. Want me to see if she's be interested?

I would just talk to the guy and see how he feels about her.
If he is favorable towards her, just mention that he should
ask her out.
And leave it at that.
If it is meant to be it will happen after that.
To get anymore involved could be very embarrassing to one or both of them.
Plus you would be going against your friends wishes.
Maybe she wants to keep him a fantasy.
The guy could be gay for all you know.

First of all: you should respect your friend's wishes. Second: It sure sounds like YOU'RE the one who's interested in the guy. If so, then YOU should make your intentions known, and leave your friend out of it.

just introduce them but do not be so obvious. If they like each other after that then fine but do not push it. It is alway okay to make a new friend.

find out if he likes her or not the same thing happend to me i was to shy to tell a guy i liked him so i told my best friend and she started talking about me and then the guy kept mentioning me and it ended up that he liked me too so if he likes her then just tell her.

I wouldnt because that could upset her and if they have a bad break up, they could put the blame on you for hooking them up. Not to metchen the fact that she doesnt want you to!
