i have a 5 months old baby boy . an his docter said that height wise he is on 75%. weight wise he is 50% and his headcir. is 25 %. what does it mean . can you please explain.and is he growing good or average.

It means he is taller than the baby boys his age, perfect weight and small head. 50% is the "average", just think of it that way.

Each baby is different. The percentile that the Doctor gives you an idea how your baby compares to other babies, nothing more.
What is important is that the growth of the baby, form your first Doctor visit to now has been normal/good. For example if at birth his height was around 75% and 5 month later he is around 75% he is doing good. But if he had dropped to significantly below 75%, something like 25%, then your Doctor will try to see what is going on.
Any Significant change in measurement percentile should be looked at carefully.

I think your baby is growing good. The doctor would let you know if he wasn't.
Height: There are only 25% of babies in his age group that are longer than him.
Weight: There are 50% of babies that weigh more than him.
Headcir.: There are 75% of babies with bigger heads than he has.
Genetics are important to consider. And babies also usually fluctuate when they grow.

Please change the Doctor cause he is niot giving you the proper answers.
the stats you gave is never possible. you meen to say that the Body CIR is bigger then the Head. thats never possible.
Please visit a good Doc.
