I took two pregnancy tests, one EPT and one First Response. They both came out positive and say they are 99% accurate. I couldn't get an OB appointment for another 6 weeks. Are the home tests reliable? I hope so!

From what I understand home tests can give you a false negative but NEVER a false positive. If the homones that make the line appear are there then you are pregnant. Good luck!!!!

Very reliable. You might not be able to get an OB appointment, but if you ask at your clinic they could run a fast test for you to know for sure. I did that with my first pregnancy. I didn't need an appointment. I called and they told me just to stop in. The nurse took a urine and blood sample and ran a quick test. I knew in about 10 minutes. But if you took 2 home tests and they are both possitive, then you are most likely pregnany. Congrats!

Definately! They are so accurate nowadays that I was never even tested by my midwife or doctor.. they just took my word for it because I'd done a home test. At the end of the day, the second line can only appear if the pregnancy hormone is present. Congratulations!

I took ept on all three of my pregnancies before I missed a period and they were all correct (+) My ob didnt even want me in there until i was about 8-9 weeks pregnant.

Very RELIABLE and ACCURATE!! I have never had one say I was pregnant when I wasn't. For that matter I haven't ever had one say I wasn't when I was! I use EPT the first day after I miss and I trust them completely! Congrats!
