Yes there are alot about the same thing just made in a different way, whats the point?! but people obviously watch them otherwise they wouldnt make them as there would be no money in it. Ones that they re do year after year like big brother are a good idea to begin with but have gotten really boring and repetitive. There are some interesting ones out there though. They need some new fresh ideas.

yes definately. it was great when survivor first came out and it was the only reality show on tv, now it's like every other show is a reality show. it's so ridiculous. if we wanted to see reality we could just go outside. i think we need more shows like the older generations had. like that girl, i love lucy, match game, etc.

yes and I guess I am the only one here but I also hate Coronation Street, East Enders and all the rest.
The UK government realised that broken families cost them 20 billion a year and are trying to fix it, so perhaps these silly soaps might cease to exist as a result but it might take another 20 years if ever: watching histerical people struggling to get on with live and learning about their incestuous stories seems to be very entertaining.

Luckily we have Jeremy Paxman to restore some sanity, he should be made prime minister lol.

Yes far too many, it appears to me a lot of the contestants / participants are wannabes too lazy to work hard for a decent life or to work out where their real talents lie.

I do believe everyone has a real talent worthy of admiration.
Why does it have to be a "Television Presenter" etc..... There are lots of really interesting careers around some of them even glamarous if that's what they find interesting.

Way, way, way too many. There's nothing creative about most of them. Most of them are so contrived as to be laughable. And the contestants they choose are always people who are most likely to be self-centered or otherwise cause conflict/friction with other contestants.

I don't want television networks creating celebrities out of thin air, yet that's what's happening. It's marketing on top of marketing, which kinda repulses me.

Yes definitely, I'm a celeb, big bro, X factor, the fuc**ng lot are all a load of sh*t, The sad thing is people keep phoning in & voting for so cold results. All the time these morons keep doing that the tv companies are making a mint, so they will keep on making the shows. So STOP PHONING IN.....................................

It's 'Trailer Trash' TV. It caters for the lowest denominator. Sadly I can only see it growing until the viewing public finally tire of it, choose to turn off, or switch channels.
