What are pros and cons of the wired world in which we live today?

Stuff like GPS, Bluetooth, Ipod, Etc. So what are good/bad things these have on society.

=the good things are knowledge, entertainment and not getting lost. The bad thing is that kids are lacking in education, they think they have to have all of this stuff, they don't know how to entertain themselves, and mostly because people have isolated themselves away from other people hiding behind computers and "stuff".
