You also need some good LUCK to succeed!
A true story. One of the billionairs in Chile had a copper mine and he offered it for sale to the Japanese for $500.000 (pesos). The sign of peso in Chile is $ just like the US dollar sign. The Japanese assumed that the $ sign meant US dollars and agreed on the deal. So he received US $500.000 dollars instead of $500.000 pesos. Now isn't that good luck?
