I will describe the physical characteristics-

1) long, curly blonde hair (down to the middle of the back- in ponytail)
2) strongly feminine facial features
3) no receding hairline - rounded hairline
4) finely pored skin
5) what looks like small breasts
6) thin torso- with noticeable indented waist
7) wide hips- walks like a girl
8) full derrierre
9) hairless arms
10) lower voice for a girl, but OK for a guy
11) feminine mannerisms

OK- this person is 35 years old and dresses androgynously- could go either way-

Would you just assume this person was a girl, or a really messed up guy?

What I find about your question is it's you painting the picture to try and lead the reader. I might well have a different opinion if I actually saw the guy/girl. Besides so, what? This guy/girl dresses androgynous? If it really is androgynous surely he/she is no more a messed up girl than guy. Or is it suddenly wrong to be an effeminate guy or butch girl? As for what I'd assume based on your description would assume neither.

Smile and walk on by not giving a second thought to them.

Want to know why?

I dont care if they were a girl or a guy and looks mean nothing. The person on the inside counts, and that is all.

It really doesnt matter to me, therefore would have no effect on me other than a polite smile and peace.

I have a tendancy to dress androgenously but I'm a plump little otter. I would assume this person is a woman and unless I found out otherwise I would treat her/him politely. It's always nice to be polite.

My first thought when I read your description was that it was a guy dressed up. Sorry if that offends. I don't think I would think it was a girl but then again I'm not a pro at distinguishing.

What are you exactly expecting from this question? Are you trying to see if people will automatically assume this is a woman? Are you saying that all gay men are fem? Soooo.... not true sweety!

I would just assume it was human and leave it at that. It would only be relavant if I planed to sleep with it and I don't think I would be attracted to androgeny. I like my men manly and my women womanly.

Are you a guy? do you've guy friends? then use your guy friends - if i referred to you protecting fingers with a homeless guy i'd fairly no longer imagine that you're both gay yet would imagine about why is a homeless guy carry a snug boys hand.

Would I really care either way? Probably not. Think you need to just stick to people watching without getting any deeper than that.

Ehhh... lol, I'd keep my comments to myself. Since the characteristics are more girl-esque, I'd just expect it was a girl until I was proven otherwise.
