Hi bachdr3 !!!!
This question is so simple to explain, that, that is why people constantly ask this !!!

People chase money, even though money is one of many evil elements working against all humanity; they do it for the same principle that we became sinners in the first place.( I explain).

You see?? Why do we sin? Because, Satan, allured Eve, into eating the forbidden friut: (THE FRUIT OF KNOWLEGE& POWER) !!!!

Adam and Eve loved and respected GOD very well. Yet Eve
fell into Satan's trick. That was, Satan, told Eve that by eating from this forbidden fruit, she will then be like GOD, knowing everything and having acces to GOD secrets of HIS "power". So she did and shared it with Adam. (She believed they could be like GOD)!!!!

And GOD is love but is also power-ful!!!! Right???
Are you still with me??? I'm going to answer your question now.

We all chase "MONEY", because we belive just like Eve, that
money will make us happy(LOVE), and also can make us (POWER-ful).!!!!

And there is your answer!!!! To concluede, this fact, I have to say, and everybody knows, that we are living a lie, thinking that money will bring us love and power!!! NOT TRUE !!!

The chasing of money, thinking is going to lead us to happiness and to power; often lead us, to feel very poor in our spirits, developing extremely weak souls.

That's why the more money people have, the less human they act. And this people need to make and have, more money all the time, because since they are so weak, they are full of insecurities!!!
"Money makes people, and it should be the other way arond. People should be making money". Have you heard this saying , "Oh, that person was a nobody", before having money !!!

Money is necessary, we live in an inperfect world. Not because of GOD, because we made it inperfect and difficult to live in ourselves. With every wrong decision taken: just like Eve, at the beggining of the world!!!

So we Christians know Eve, was tricked; but we continued taking wrong turns and making wrong decisions. In the purse of power, adquired by money.

Is a simple explanation, but like every simple thing there are complications.
Backdr3, I advise you not to center your life on money. Live your life to the fullest, love your love ones with respect, stop and be wise on decisions taking, and be true to yourself. That is the true "POWER" withing ourselves.

This things are going to bring you to a true sense of being empowered with yourself. And if you have your own control; you are "THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD" !!!!!

Good luck, and welcome to the "MULTIMILLIONAIRE CLUB"
of people in control of their life's because they have rich souls!!!!

GOD BLESS YOU;
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR;
ALLIV Z

Because it's all about control, yes it does state that "the love of money is the root of all evil," that is so that lay people can believe that, and give their money to the church (th logic being that since the love of it is evil, I can give it to charity and redeem its evilness), but the powers that be never really believed that themselves obviously.
The church in return used the money to control society, resources and peoples lives (power).
The other part of the equation is that we live in a world in which money dominates and without it we would not survive. If you have alot of money, you control a significant amount of resource, thus you can get away with more than the average person.

The actual bible quote is 'the love of money is the root of all evil'. Money itself, and the pursuit of it is not evil, its just how our society operates,

To become obsessed or love money is to the degree you would do evil thing is wrong, but to chase money to live is just practicality.

In our world, you need money for things like food, shelter, clothes etc. This doesn't make a person evil.

Contrary to popular belief, the actual adage is "the love of money is the root of all evil." Even the ancients knew that money in and of itself is benign and necessary, however, greed leads to other sins as well, hence it being one of the seven deadly sins. Why else would the church ask for tithes and offerings? What really strikes me as funny, is the fact that the church seems to want the money more than its parishioners. Go figure, eh?

I don't know. If money is so evil then why do churches need so much of it to preach GOD? If you want to chase GOD then forget the money and jump in front of a train.

Money is not the root of all evil. The correct quotation, in its entirety, is "LOVE of money is the root of all evil."

Money, properly used, can be the source of quite a bit that's good. I think the proper attitude about money is expressed by the quotation, "Money is like manure. If you just stack it in a big pile, all it does is smell; but if you spread it out, it helps things grow and thrive."

It is the love or overwhelming desire of money that is the root of all evil. Is the picture any clearer now?

Because people don't realize that material things will pass away but God's love is eternal.
If you don't believe in God, of course God isn't gonna pay your bills or provide you with food/shelter/clothing. Why should He if you're convinced He doesn't exist?

We need to survive. Can't do that without money these days. God is everywhere, chasing HIM is unnecessary.

simple. we can see money..own it..etc. people look at it like and say to themselves "we can see money but we cant see God" basically people with little minds and no faith always choose money. But they are always the ones that have it the hardest and lose everything they have.
