when I was about that age I gave the guy i liked a wallet with my photo in it. I read in a magazine that is good. Or anything personal with a foto or a gift certificate to a movie or something like that.

Well, before choosing to answer this question, I checked your previous question to see how valid I should consider this. I see you've done a ton of moving around, are worried about her stability and the problems it's causing .. yet you're letting her have a b/f at 12 years old?
You have some serious problems as a parent. This isn't meant as an insult, although it will be seen as one.
You shouldn't be letting your 12 year old child date, girl or boy. That is far too young, and the fact that you not only condone it, but go out of your way to help her relationship says far too much about you. In fact, it says enough about you to ensure that you'll dismiss this answer and claim I don't know what I'm talking about, so why waste my time typing?

Twelve is too young to have a boyfriend. You are her mother, so are you aware that:
Girls who date before age 16 are more likely to engage in sex, and the younger they are, the more likely they are to be pushed into sex?
Are you aware that once they engage in sex and are so young, they will have many sexual partners, and not be discriminating about the boys they are with?
The research shows that age 16 seems to be the magic age where a girl will stand up for herself and say no, and if she does engage in sex, it will be in long term relationships, and she will be more discriminating about who she is with.
A 12 year old should not have a boyfriend or be dating in any way, shape, or form!
It's time for parents to wise up and stop throwing their daughters to the wolves!

Maybe you should get him a box of condoms seeing as how that must be the next step if a 12 year old girl has a boyfriend! Good lord what is the world coming to.

shes 12 years old how should she have a boyfriend but anyways maybe u live in a different country anyways she should buy him a teddy bear or something to show her love for her boyfriend

Your daughter could probably get him a hat...his favorite band stickers like the ones you stick on cars....have her bake him some cookies.....or even just get him a giftcard to his favorite place to shop.Getting presents for guys is harder than it seems.
