I'd say do it all and make enough for everyone to sample each! It's wedding and it's Christmas. No better time to splurge on a bunch of delicious cakes!

I would go with the red velvet, with white icing and green garnish (try either green royal icing pine boughs or real mint leaves). My mom used to make it once a year, and we all looked forward to it. To me, this cake speaks of Christmas. I am a little concerned about the addition of peppermint, though. I might add mint to the frosting, rather than the cake itself. Chocolate-raspberry would be my second choice, but just the mention of the red velvet brings back memories. The other two sound too much like breakfast muffins. They don't sound Christmasy enough. The color of the velvet is ideal for this season.

Since it is a christmas wedding I would suggest if they do 3 flavors red velvet peppermint, cranberry orange and pumpkin (in that order from top to bottom) or if it were me I would go with the pumpkin wedding cake. Good luck and congrats to your friend.

Well, I have to say the Red Velvet Peppermint *sounds* the most festive and a red cake in December is certainly a treat.
However, as a chocoholic, I have to say the Chocolate Raspberry is quite appealing as well - though perhaps not as inherently "festive".

after I were given married our cake replaced into all one flavor so human beings did no longer have a call, yet many bakers are keen to do each and each and every layer of your cake a unique flavor if it truly is what you want. i for my area imagine the peppermint will be too overwhelming a flavor in a cake, till you visit a tasting first and locate out it truly is diffused. the different 2 will be scrumptious no remember what. Congratulations!

Red velvet peppermint. The colors are proper--red for XMas and white for purity. And it sounds tasty and refreshing after a meal. Howwever, the latter comment cannot be said with certainty, as you failed to provide with the question a description of the entire meal.

cranberry orange would be the best in my opinion. personally I would LOVE the peppermint, but I know of quite a few people who dont like mint so it might not go over well with guests.

When my Husband and I got married, we had sheet cakes. We have alot of relatives and they all seem to like different flavors. What you could do is maybe a two tier cake and small sheet cakes. That way you have alot of different flavors for alot of different tastes. All of the flavors sound very tasty!!
