No, it's not right. He is being controlling. You need to stick up for yourself and tell him that if he goes out so will you, it's only fair. If he yells at you or lifts his hand at you call the cops on him. When he asks you where the money is tell him you spent it on buying food to feed his a-- and if he doesn't like it tell him he should do the shopping then.

I believe in equal rights and you most certainly shouldn't take that just because you are a woman. That is a lousy excuse for allowing him to treat you like that.My husband does not go out without me.You are special and need to make sure you are treated as such.Let him do the grocery shopping himself to leave you more time to make yourself even more beautiful than you already are.All the best.

no it is not right, sounds as if he is a controller, and that will make your life very hard if u choose to stay with him, relationships are between two people who respect the other, not someone who yells at u all of the time. maybe think about future, start saving money, get a job, and move on away from him. he sounds very selfish really, not someone who would make a good husband.

NO it's not. I know that my husband doesn't go out unless I go with him. Somebody has to babysit him. If he has a problem about the grocery store then tell him to go with you and he will see how much money is spent there. I know I have four kids and our grocery bill is crazy each month. Or if he don't want to go with you save your receipts and say you wanna know here!!! Proof!!

That is sooo not right. He sounds very controlling. I have open access to mine and my husbands money and DON'T have to ask to buy stuuf or explain my purchases to him. The only time I run stuff buy him is if it is a big purchase. I would run from this man and fast.

save your reciepts hun an stick them in his face.

not a good relationship, don't spend any time together out and about with others. have him go to the store with you or just by himself if he is too worried about the money issue. he sounds not so good to me. selfish even.

No it's not right. He needs to respect you as an adult and equal partner in the relationship. He should treat you as he would like to be treated.
Otherwise he is dictating to, and controlling you and he has no right to do that.

in my opinion that's not right, but certain religions will disagree with me. At the end of the day you need to ask yourself are you happy? That's all that matters

It's only right if you're ok with being married to a controlling jerk. Put your foot down if you don't like it. He'll only do what he can get away with.
