Nope, I have received best answers from ones I'm not friends with whom I happen to know their friends answered the same question, and I know they are friends, cause they refer to each other in some questions. This is a fun spot and we believe in equal rights and fairness! :-)
Maybe I just missed the cases you are referring to.
