I wear contacts frequently but yesterday I decided to wear glasses to give my eyes a break. And whoa I forgot what I look like with glasses. I look and feel ugly and horrible in these! In contacts I felt and looked pretty and stuff. Well I'm out of contacts and don't get to see the doc till next month.

Why is this? Am I as ugly and horrible looking as I think I do in these glasses?

Since I don't know what you look like or what your glasses look like I can't answer this.. however, I would be willing to bet you don't look half as bad as you thing. Why do you think you look bad??? Do you feel people with glasses are less attractive as a whole.. or just you? Also, did things happen that made you feel more attractive AFTER you started wearing contacts and just attribute it to you beeing more appealing? I think the real question is how do you look at your self? For the record, I also wear contacts and for years thought I was hidious in my glasses... Then I got an eye infection and was forced to wear my glasses for an enitre week. I worked in a fast paced enviorment and came in contact with many influencial people. The first day in my glasses an EXTREMELY good looking attorney who I knew in passing came up to me in a bar at happy hour and said "You look great! I Love your new glasses! He than proceeded to hit on me for the rest of the night and for years after. Needless to say... I never had a problem with my glasses again..even wear them for the hell of it from time to time... and always get compliments when I do.

No, you probably just need to get used to it. I wear glasses and have for a while, when i first got them i felt the same way you do but now i love my glasses you just have to find the ones that "fit" you.

I felt the same way when I went from contacts to glasses. No you're not as horrible looking as you think...trust me. From my experience we just get so use to seeing the way we look that when we go back to another way it is different all over again.

no but it sure feels wierd huh,
I make sure i never run out, cant stand the whole looking over the glasses frame thing, I find it really annoying espically when i am out playing pool etc.

dont worry there is not a great deal of looks difference between contacts and frames

good luck and let your eyes breathe for a while

cheers

You're just not used to it.. I think when a movie star wears glasses when they normally don't, it gives them a change in their look, which is a good thing. Like Johnny Depp, Jennifer Aniston, and others. It makes them look like an intellectual!

When I wear my glasses, I pick my nose hair, and twist it in my 2 fingers, and after about a minute, I twist it near my ear to hear it. You may be the queen, but I think I'm king of stupidity!

NO, If u are beautiful w/o them you are beautiful w/ them. You are just gonna have to go the extra mile in the glasses. Wear eye makeup and wear your hair in a sexy style that compliments your face.

I think glasses can make a woman very attractive...try using them as a part of your make-up. I prefer glasses and actually like the look it gives me. "Life is a stage....." so have fun with the props.
