These guys, with like torches, stormed my house, and like, pulled me out of it, then like tore off all my clothes and stuck spikes and stuff in me. And then they like tied me to a post and like set it on FIRE!
It was SUCH a waste of make-up day!

ok the year is 1006. I am sitting in a turf house in greenland with a fire made up of drift wood, the only wood on the island, as no trees grow here. we just came back from Vinland, what is today north america. we had been attacked by Skraelings and Thorvald was killed. but we managed to get a shipload of timber, as well as some nuts and grapes. the nuts and grapes will be served as part of our christmas feast.

Ok. Father died at the age of 30, mother has tuberculosis and the pigs have all been stolen by the Lord of the Manor. Worked 15 hours today, so things looking up. The hovel is leaking.
