So, let me get this straight (pun!) - a widely reviled, very tiny, very radical party, which has yet to participate in any elections because of the lack of support, is formed in the Netherlands, and you see this as a sign that the "gay agenda" is tearing down Western civilization?

Do I need to even point out the obvious, Capt. Obvious? Homosexuality is not pedophilia or bestiality. Homosexuality is an attraction between adult members of the same sex. Pedophilia is sexual attraction to children. Bestiality is sexual attraction to animals. Just because a person advoacates for ten percent of US citizens to be afforded the same rights as the rest of the population has absolutely nothing to do with endorsing pedophilia or bestiality. These are three totally different things. What is so confusing about all this? It seems pretty cut-and-dry to me.

Edit: There is a HUGE difference in beliefs. Do you even understand what the gay rights movement is all about? Do you even understand what it is that gay people are asking? All homosexual citizens are asking is to be treated the same as heterosexual citizens. Not discriminated against when it comes to housing or employment. To be able to have parental rights for their children. To be able to to be on a partner's health insurance plan. To be able to visit a sick partner in the hospital. To be able to inherit after a partner's death.

To not be beaten to death and strung up on a barbed wire fence.

There is no-one in the gay rights movement who suggests that pedophilia or bestiality is okay.

a million. The U.S. Civil conflict had no longer some thing to do with Human Rights, that became about no matter if a state, having joined the Union, ought to then withdraw. at the same time as the South seceded the North refused to enable them go, slavery became secondary and, in element of truth, interior of both slave states that went with the Union, their slaves were no longer freed, actually slaves in the Confederacy were coated till the structure became amended. 2. The time period "gay" rights is overly limiting, the question is one in all "Human" rights, that rights that different human beings have are being denied to Gays in accordance with non secular bigotry. it really is a sparkling case of the authorities enacting regulations respecting the institution of fundamentalist Christianity because the reliable State faith and prohibiting the loose exercising of all others. The wrestle is only no longer over at the same time as Gays are recognized to be Human, yet at the same time as everyone are.

It is so wonky that people make the jump from homosexuality to beastiality. How do the two even compare?!? I am all for gay rights, I support the right for a human being of consenting age to willfully engage in a personal and loving and sexual relationship with another human being of consenting age---end of story.

What rights are you referring to in your question? As it stands now Homosexuals have exactly the same rights I do. The only right that is different is they they can't get married. I wouldn't mind one bit if they fought for a "same sex union" equal to a marriage, just as long as they don't call it a marriage. Homosexuality was considered deviant behavior along with the others you cited. I agree with some that it should be considered abnormal behavior. I am not exactly sure what percentage of the population is gay, I would venture to say that it is in the teens or lower. That in itself would categorize it as abnormal. This in no way means that Homosexuals are bad ,evil people, just the opposite is true. There are many that are truly great people.

Those people in Denmark are a band of pedophiles. They are rallying to get the age of consent lowered to continue their perversions. Their platform is just that, but I think with something like offering free trains/buses to get elected. Kind of how the American government authorizes the spending of money to stupid things on bills that they know will get passed.

What is beastiality? Anyways I will always consider being gay wrong. They can only recruit andt not reproduce it is against mother natures laws.

As for the age of consent I don't really care but a childs mind isn't developed enought to make the right decision.

Gay rights are for adults. It seems odd you list these other sexual practices since the majority of the perpetrators are heterosexual. Sex with children is far more prevalent with straight people. The age of consent should be 16.

But really, if you neighbor wants to get it on with his chicken, is that any of your business?

I am almost positive that being gay doesn't mean you are a pedophile, or that you like sex with animals. The things you mention are not related. As for the age of consent, do you think it would make a difference? Sex sells, kids are exposed to it at alarmingly young ages.

The issue behind rights is what two consenting ADULTS do. As for what Denmark does, it's irrelevant to my stand on the gay rights issue in the states.

That is a slippery slope argument and a very weak one.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slippery_slope

Please understand that if we let one thing happen, that it doesn't mean all things should happen,.

Canada has observed same sex marriages and many countries in europe do so as well. There hasn't been any demand anywhere that even remotely suggest this

Please join us in the 21st century.
And btw, most of those against same sex marriages do not even use that weak argument anymore.
