1 download C-DEX this will convert a wav file into mp3
you need to be able to record the wma onto some music software such as cool edit/ samplitude.
make sure that the RECORD option is open in the VOLUME control on your pc, then make sure that the STERIO MIXER INPUT is selected, this does an internal recording while you are playing the wma on the wm PLAYER. It can be a little complicated, but i have done it many times.basically buy playing the music on the wmplayer and recording the music using another program you create a . WAV file.... this can then be converted with C-DEX ( c-dex is really user friendly)mail me if you need to know more, or if you find other solutions....

You can try Cool Edit Pro or Sony Sound Forge,
other then converting audio file type, you can also edit (cut, paste, etc.), convert to mono/stereo, change the dynamic/volume, lower/higher the sample rate and bit, and many more....

Winamp will do it.
Windows Media Player I believe will do it. DBPowerAMP is a good tool as well for converting music

i use itunes but there are many different convergent tools. look at xilisoft.com. but itunes is good b/c its free.
