Is it accurate? Do you believe in it, or is it just a construct of faulty statistics? What are you along the lines? Decimals can be used. :) Flames will be used to light the fire in my girlfriend's pants.

Edit --

Ah, Sarah, I hoped you would answer. My girlfriend promised me something VERY nice if you did. ^.~ You are responsible for all sexual activity in my bedroom tonight. Hope you're happy!

Also, just to be fair, I consider myself about a 4.5, personally, though I don't stick to the scale too rigorously. Kinsey was rather infamous for taking many of his statistics and studies from prison inamtes. To me, men are rather attractive, but I just can't see myself sleeping with one.

If I were to base my sexuality on this scale, I would most likely be a 5 or 6. However, I don't really agree with the Kinsey scale or think it's fair.

Most people cannot be pegged as being one thing or another, since most experience a fluctuation in their romantic/sexual feelings at any given moment in their life.

For example, the guy next door could one day proclaim that he is exclusively heterosexual with absolutely no feelings or inclinations of a homosexual nature. But a few years down the road, he may experience an attraction (albeit a small one) toward his male co-worker.

Human sexuality is too subjective and ambiguous to be pinned down by a numeric scale. That's just my opinion though.

My Dear lady, I can say that I am a "6" and my partner of 26 years is definately a "10" (at least in my eyes) I'm not certain about the Kinsey report. it's been a great deal of time since I've read it, but thanls for the reminder. I'll go have a read. Blessings.

I'm a 0 but I think the Kinsey scale is pretty valid. Human sexuality is too complex to be black or white and I think alot of people fall in the "gray areas".

I average out to a three, though some days I'm more attracted to one gender or another.

I think it's an interesting way to explain sexuality, and was a very good early attempt.

6.0

Never really thought about a naked lady, never found myself interested in the other sex in any sexual manner. I have seen alot of both sexes since I am a nurse's aide.

I think the scale is pretty accurate and defines sexuality pretty well.

I'm maybe a 5 or 5.5. Sometimes I think boys are pretty, but they still smell weird. I genuinely enjoyed making out with a few of them in high school, but not nearly as much as I enjoy making out (ok, ok... and more) with my girl now.

I guess I would be a 5

I am a 3.5 and yes I think it is as useful a tool to explain human sexuality as anything else I have encountered.
