except the popular needs of lack of existence by torture, i'd say the worst proper punishment will be to choose that the human be forced to stay something of their lives with somebody else- precisely like them.

That everyone that person knows will die infront of them,slowly and painfully. That I think would be the worse to wish what would happen to someone else.

Perhaps to be in complete isolation their entire life, or witnessing the murder of a loved one and living with that memory their entire life. Oh my gosh--I'm now depressed.

That they be immortal and sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole, have a horrible non-fatal disease and no TV.
