Suddenly...are you kidding me? Bush's popularity has been on a rapid decline every since he stole--um, was elected for a second term.
It didn't decline after the mid term elections. That was merely a result of the people speaking in VOLUMES and voting in numbers to make sure that it was impossible to steal the votes. Bush's popularity continues to decline (it's at around 27% now) simply because he refuses to admit that he's gotten us into a mess with Iraq. That he has our troops trapped in the middle of a Civil War; that he refuses to allow the media to inform us of how many troops have died. The people are simply starting to wake up, put the pieces together and we're going to make him Change this Course that he's for some reason convinced is the right thing to do.

His popularity did decline long before the second election, but the voters was not aware of that yet.
If you do not like Mr Bush you should not blame him, he is doing his best to fulfill the wishes of the voter and to be and act as them. So simple is that, what do you expect from him?

See, I rather like your president Bush, I admire the man for standing up and finishing what his father started.

Think what you like, but he must have big cohonnas to stand up to the likes of the UN and Saddam Hussein.

He, John Howard and John Major did what everybody knew had to be done but was too scared to do it.

We have to remember, that there were WOMD, America sold them to Iraq.

They must still be out there, without Saddam, maybe they will never be used?

There is no way to accurately determine the Presidents popularity. It all depends on who you watch and listen to. Polls can be made to look any which way the pollsters want.
