I don't know. His career will never be the same, that's for sure, but I might continue to watch my favorite movies. I will still watch Braveheart and The Sixth Sense for sure. But if someone like my husband brought home a Mel Gibson movie to watch together I will watch it, because they tried to pick something I enjoy

I never really liked his acting but some of the movies he has directed have been great. It has nothing to do with his illness. Which is what he has. He has a drinking problem that turns him into some one else. If he wasn't a celebrity no one would would even notice.
