My friend she has kind of a wierd skin tone ,its
beautiful but she has trouble finding lip colors that
work for her.

She wants to wear RED..but her skin tone is kind
of a yellow/olive/bronze if that makes any sense
its a bronze but with a little tinge of yellow/olive undertone.
She says she has never found a shade of red that
looked good.

What Reds would be good, Pictures would help.

If she has yellow/olive undertones, red probably is not the right shade for her. Bronze, coral, tawny type shades will probably work better for her. Or maybe even orange instead of red.

You are right: there is a red for everyone and the best thing she could do is to try on some reds in the warm category, the cool, and the neutral. Then she can find out which looks best on her. A good idea would be to visit a good department store where a saleslady in a good line could help her; perhaps Prescriptives; or Chanel or Estee Lauder. Another nice idea is to send for some samples at Besame Cosmetics. They have a whole range of reds for all skin tones, and you could choose one there and get an idea of what family of reds she looks best in. You are not stuck with just one colour red, there are always different ones within the same colour family.

I know exactly what you mean, I have a similar skin tone. Except mine is more bronzed. I'm not sure if red is exactly the right color for her, a more neutral color would work really pretty.Check out the site below maybe she might see a color she likes then she can try it.

She might want to try Mauve reds or Berry reds. If those don't work then she needs to stick with neutral colors such as pink and coral. She really needs to go to a make-up counter and ask the professionals.

She should try a red with blue undertones. I have the same skintone and I just wear red. Sometiem it's not about the shade, or your skin, it's about the attitude of the wearer.
