Or is it done in the stirrups? Or with you on your side? I have heard of all three, but what one did you experience? Also, I think the docs just do a quick peek, but no poke. Is that true?

If it's a normal check up, then they will just take a quick look to make sure everything is okay. It only takes like five seconds, and i just laid on my side.

It is a digital exam done in the stirrups to check for polyps.

checking for hemroids, thats all, just a quick glance, thats all it takes.
