I've been alone on Christmas a few times and actually I enjoyed it. Christmas is so commercialized that it is no longer a lot of fun for me.
I love to be with my family but it seems it is always about who paid what for who's gift.
I like to just have a nice dinner and spend some quality time with the family instead of worrying about what to spend on everyone.
In a perfect world........

In some sense yes, because this seems to be the only time when "more" people want to care for the homeless, feed the poor and think of Christ. We should be doing this 365 days of the year.
