It would probably be one of those weird ornaments that are make out of blown glass that you don't really know exactly what they are. I would be red and orange with a little black. My grandma would hang me on the tree and I would be hung high up on the tree close to the star, next to the ornament that looks like santa with a Christmas tree for a hat, because that always makes me laugh =D But then my sister's cat would climb the tree and knock me down and I would shatter, and then my grandma would super-glue me back together.

So is your question should you let her do it? Why not.
Both my kids (13 and18) have the little mini-trees in their rooms. Each year I give them an ornament that reminds them of something they experienced that year. They now have a collection that they will take with them when they leave home. That is what they decorate the trees in their rooms with.

I think that is special that your daughter would like to do that - she must have a special knack or talent for it and wants to express it - encourage it. It doesn't have to be an expensive venture.
Merry Christmas!

The dollar tree has small little fake trees with ornaments and lites and that is what I got for my two children to put in their rooms. You also have the option at Target to buy character trees with matching lites and ornaments. They have spongebob, spiderman, and a pink princess one!

its a good idea get her a small tree sometimes you can find a whole boxed set with everything u need or find her a small fiber optic tree we used to do this for my son when he was younger they like watching the lights just dont get glass bulbs make sure everything is plastic and maybe a timer to cut it off after she is asleep in case it gets left on safety helps

I would say that it depends on her age. If she is a pre-teen I would think that it would be okay especially if she has one of those miniature trees that come with the decorations included. I had one and I really enjoyed it.
