Please help, it keeps bringing up these fake warnings, porn popups, and other virus advertisements. It also keeps installing stuff, which makes it difficult to install anything to fix it because it continually sucks up space. How do I get rid of this? Or at least stop these nasty popups?

This question has been asked hundreds of times.

Virusburst(er) is installed by a Smitfraud Trojan. These cannot be removed by most Anti-spyware programs. These must be removed by a programs that specializes in Smitfraud removal. These two sites specialize in removing Smitfrauds. Use either site or both(if needed):

Those popups usually come from spyware on your computer, to remedy this, I recommend; Spybot S&D (search & destroy), and Ad-Aware SE Personal. Both of these are free to download and quite possibly the best thing against this sort of thing. Oh, and get rid of the source of the spyware, such as Limewire, Kazaa, etc.

Go to these links and download the software ( i personally use these programs and they DO work )

Spybot Search & Destroy:
http://filehippo.com/download_spybot_search_destroy/

Ad-Aware SE:
http://filehippo.com/download_ad-aware/

the download for them is in the upper right hand cornor...also...if you are using Norton Anti-Virus i HIGHLY suggest getting a different A/V (norton is one of the worst A/V's)

Check into this A/V www.NOD32.com its a free 30 day trial then you have to pay but its a superb A/V also if you search on www.filehippo.com you will find other A/V's most of them are free!

Go to start, control panel, add remove programs, then click on virus buster! To get rid of pop up you need to purchase a blocker! but for now if you are using XP click on start then Control panel then internet property then the privacy tab change your pop up blocker settings up alittle bit higher! This should take care of your problem!
