nabedrik2... is on the money.
I would not take it very far apart...

Try to get 90% isopropyl alcohol rather than 70% (10% water .vs. 30% water) - as it dries much faster.

If something similar occurs to other electronics, I usually drain all of the water I can out of it, and then flood it with 90% isopropyl alcohol. This displaces the water, and evaporates a lot faster than water, lessening the damage. Also, heat under 125 degrees (you might try a heat pad) - speeds up the drying out too.

To all the personal questions:
How it happens, is that it falls/slides off of your loosened belt.

Apparently, some women don't take cell phones into bathrooms - they take another woman. If I did that, I probably would not take my cell phone either. :)

take the phone fulla apart. As much as you can. Just don't break it. Take an alchol swab or dip a cue tip in alchol and wash it everywhere. Than take a blow dryer or dust blower and dry it. Leave it open to dry for about an hour. Then assemble it again. It should work than. It happened to me and after I did that everything was fine. I have a Nokia 6130
