Okay, so I've got this Gamecube disk, and I put it in the Gamecube. the screen says there's no disk, so I open it, look at the disk, and see there are some scratches. If I put some peanut butter or toothpaste on it and rubbed it off, do you think that the disk would work? Because I've seen some answers to one of the Featured Questions saying that toothpaste and peanut butter works on CDs, so is a Gamecube disk a CD? I would think it is, so wouldn't toothpaste and peanut butter work?

Okay, I tried putting toothpaste on the stratch and then I tried it but it didn't work. Is there a certain way I'm supposed to put it on?
