Congrats on getting another chance, not many people get that chance..so don't blow it...
1. Never sound desperate in an interview!
2. You've bought yourself some time, now research the company!
3. Turn the tv, and radio off during your interview, and use a land line as opposed to a cellphone
4. Stand up while on the phone, it will exude confidence, and give your conversation energy..(trust me it works)
5. Have a pen and a pad ready to take notes and ask questions
6. Make sure you let them know you want the job (too many people forget to ask for the job)
7. Try not to ramble, get to the point
8. make it a two way conversation, not a grilling session...for example..they ask you a question..answer it concisely an dthen ask a question back
good luck!

It is common to do phone interviews first for internships, just because they usually have a lot of candidates to choose from. So they will typically phone screen 10 to 15 candidates and bring half of them or top 3 in for face to face interviews.
As far as rescheduling another interview, just be honest with them - your test went late. Then when you get the interview reschedule, tell them thank you for the 2nd chance. Leave it at that and don't bring it up again. You want to focus on why you are a good fit, not that you missed the 1st interview.
Good luck!

i ought to easily call and elements a more advantageous suited excuse/reason then the fact and have a glance at to reschedule. i did not even comprehend McDonald's does 2d interviews. although this is properly worth a try, as a replace of giving up. The worst they could say isn't any.

Tell them what you said here. You were in a test and couldn't get to the phone. Tell the truth and give the best interview you can. If it's meant to be, it'll be. If it doesn't work out, keep trying.

I would just be honest and say "in my quest to further my education, a test ran overtime and I was unable to make it home (or wherever) in time to take the call. I appreciate so much the time you are taking to give me another interview."

You should feel lucky they gave you a second chance. Missung an interview is a huge no-no in my book. I wouldn't have given you a second chance.

Tell them what you told us if they are an employer you want to work for they will understand. If they give you a hard time about it maybe you really don't want to work for them anyway. Good Luck.
