You are correct. Adam and Eve is a creation Myth, designed to explain existence to the uneducated masses. by the uneducated mumbo-jumbo men who make a living from this kind of humour. Today of course , you will never find any person defending this absurd notion, thankfully Science , Education, and sanity have won the day. Haven't they?

Actually it was more than Adam and Eve. At present times by genetic code everything went back to just 7 genetic codes. About kids - don't knew but they did had a chance to avoid "incestuous"

Spelled correctly.

And, yes, their kids for at least couple of generations were - technically - committing incest.
And if you go further down the track, after the Flood Noah's kids were "in the same boat" (sorry for the pun!).

BUT - the let-out - Allah/G-d/Yahweh/the Big Beanie didn't make laws against it till the time of Moses.

So, while what they did was defined as incestuous - they could not have been charged with breaking any law!

IF Adam and Eve were the ONLY humans by the time Cain and Abel came along then yes, it would be incest and break scientific belief (2 men making a baby together).

But I don't recall them being the ONLY humans for the entirety of their story.

Adam and Eve are symbolic, its a symbolic story, its not meant to be taken literally, they represent the first humans and that we have been flawed from day 1, or okay, since we first existed. most Christians dont genuinely believe that the whole human race came from just two people, thats just illogical, not to mention disgusting.

I had a conversation about this yest. We agreed that could be why we don't use all of our brain only a percentage. As we evolve the effect incest has lessens. If it's thought about everyone is related to everyone else in some way no matter how distant it may seem now.

If you read the bible. Adam and Eve leave the Garden of Eden and join a society of other people. So no, there could not be incest since they joined others that were already a part of that world.

Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, but there were plenty of others outside the garden for Adam and Eve and their children to socialise with.

Their kids were Cain and Abel - both men. As far as I know, there were no reports of them being incestuous - in fact, one killed the other!

maybe their children would be offspring from an insestual relationship if Adam and Eve were brother and sister, but without either of them having parents, that is somewhat impossible to know!
