When it comes to adopting kids? Why isnt she adopting white kids or fair coloured kids? I am not white by the way.

What does it matter? She's gave two kids a better life than what they had in Cambodia or Africa. Least she's one of a few rich celebrities that using their money to help other people. I mean she's not the only one that has adopted a black child, look at Madonna and Nicole Kidman. Nicole didn't even birth any natural children that are white, but it doesn't mean she's racist. Stop looking at the racial barrier of it and think about how she may have saved those kids life from whatever diseases are prevalent in their country. That's why there in adoption centers for ones to adopt them regardless of race or who they are and provide them with a better life.

Well, I kind of see where you're coming from....but, I think she's more interested in giving children an opportunity to have a healthy life without worrying about when or where the next meal is coming from. She has the money and time to give these children the chance for a good education and possibly a higher education -something that the birth parents are unable to provide. I think it's noble what she's doing but I don't think she's looking for specifically non-white babies...(my opinion only)

I dont get it either.
Im really not for interracial adoption mostly because I think about what that kid will have to go through when he/she gets older and wonders why people who look like mommy (white) will get treated diffrently than people who look like me( black). ( in the case of zaharra). Maddox will have to deal with the same thing one day.
They will get throught it, but not without some gut wrenching hurt and having to figure out where they really belong in the world. Its easier when you have a family of the same race that can raise you knowing about stuff. And people who are miniority know what I mean when I say "knowing about stuff".
I also feel that instead of adopting kids, we should do more to help natives be able to take care of thier kids. Whats with this, " if so and so lived in (insert native country) they would be dead, Im only helping them" bull? Why not donate and get the family to help themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
people who dally on and on about this " its just love , who cares about how the kid looks" dont really think about how the kid will live. We all know Bradgelina will soon be Brad pitt and Angelina jolie and she will be stuck having to take care of three kids herself.

okay, yeh there are kids that need adopting in america, but the children she adopts are living in far worse situations. how many white kids do you know from the poor parts of africa?and i kno the question is about adopting kids but if she was racist she wouldn't have hooked up with a WHITE guy and had his baby!

The color doesn't matter but doesn't she know that the U.S. has many babies who need adopted? For the money that she spends going all over the world she could be giving that money to some of our children for Christmas this year. She can go to any homeless shelter and find someone to help. She loves publicity and a nice big fat pat on the back.

Why does everything have to have a racist slant? I'm sick of the way everything is twisted around to accuse everyone of some kind of racism. Perhaps she just wanted to help some kids from the poorest parts of the world, or perhaps it's just another celebrity fad, but lets get away from screaming 'racist' all the time.

No I don't think she is at all. Although many celebrities do have motives underneat their philanthropy and compassion, they're still human. She may genuinely want to help people in that sense. And I'm one who'll always give someone the benefit of the doubt for the sake of goodness.

No, I don't think she's racist I think that she doesn't see her kids (the ones she adopted) as colors I think she just sees them as beautiful souls.
