Does our 'over translation' hinder the integration of refugees?

They are claiming on the news tonight that it is a hindrance but I think they should have to learn English, quite often the womens husbands do not allow their wives to learn English, I expect they are worried they will pick up our evil ways.
It is very difficult in they are ill or have to go into hospital, or have to visit schools with their children.
I cannot understand why they come here if they have no wish to intergrate.

I expect it does .But saying that i would also say that it`s something else the government have brought on them selves .I know if i lived in a non English speaking country and i could get by without learning the language i might pick up the odd few words but that is as far as i would get ,and i would try and get by using people who could speak for me .
this isn`t just lazyness it`s lack of confidence and thinking i was making a fool of myself
if there were no other option that would be the push i needed to learn their language but maybe very old people could be the exception they find it even harder to change

By "over translation" do you mean bilingual education & providing so many things in Spanish as well as English? If so, I agree. It delays their integration into the American mainstream & is a great disservice to them.

Definitely. If people want to come here, they should learn the language to show they genuinely want to be british, rather than living in their own enclave
