I've got to go with Mardi Gras here. I love the whole social season, the parties and balls, and helping out with the krewes. The big parades can be so much fun, whether handing out the throws from the floats, or being out there catching all the goodies. I'd often come home from boarding school (an out-of-state one where people don't really celebrate Mardi Gras) just to celebrate the season, and to get a decent piece of King Cake.

I absolutely LOVE Halloween because my family decorates WAy over the max! I also love dressing up, getting and giving candy!! It's awesome!! yeah, im in junior high

Chinese New Year. You get money from people. And my school excuses people if they want to take Chinese New Year off so we could go to school if we want to.
