I think Bush is like most politicians - not really concerned with whats best for the people he represents. I think the war was started to cover up some other problem they didnt want to come out - the same as Blair joined in to cover up what a mess he's making of our country.
However Ive been to America a few times. Most of the people I met were really nice, kind, amusing, fun, good people. But i tend to find Americans in general know very little about the rest of the world, they dont seem to be given any input about what goes on anywhere else. I dont think its their fault, because theyre always interested to know stuff - I think it may be education in general.
I have met some Americans who have been so infuriatingly dumb all I wanted to do was shake some sense into them. Mind you those kind of people exist the world over.
So in general, youre OK

I believe Mr. Bush blew it when the towers went down in that damnable terrorist attack! Although he had a right to be angry with the criminals, and to express proper anger for the Americans, I think that he acted hastily on poor information towards the Iraq nation.
He had the power to bring peace rather than war. The moment he turned his back on diplomacy and understanding the fools who attacked you,he opened a Pandora's box.
It was at this pivotal moment of history that George W. Bush could have expressed forgiveness and built a legacy of care. He could have found out "Why?" Why would you want to murder innocents for your cause? What can we do to help? How can we secure the safety of all without any more death?
He missed the boat. Yes the perpetrators deserve a just punishment and the American nation deserve justice for that crime.
In any war; the first casualty is the truth, the ones who pay for the war, are the civilians. The last five years have shown that to be true. The president is the commander in chief; these two essentials should be known to him if he leading an armed force. Mr. Bush disregarded this. The war in Iraq should not be.
As for the Americans? Nice people...just like any other land the average American is like the average German, or the average Japanese. And these three nations have nice people throughout their lands just as the nation of Iraq have. All four lands have the fools, the power hungry and the evil, but these on the whole are a minority as they are here in Canada.
Every man and woman of the States and other lands only want the peace of hearth and home.Americans want their children to live and love well into their old age. They are a people of good nature who only want the security of peace; and a healthy economy of work to earn their daily bread.
That's what I think. I hope it is worth something to you.

I'm from Canada, but i have lived in America for eight years now. My opinion about Americans is that alot of them are open minded about other countries and dint think that America is the best, or most beautiful place ever. Alot of my friends think it would be nice to go to other countries and experience other culture. However, alot of other Americans are not like that. It was hard for me moving here because alot of people were like oh your canadian, canadians are stupid or this and that, but that was just ignorance. I think it also depends on where in America you are. Alot of people in the south are kind of closed minded, ignorant, and bible thumpers with their own opinion on how things are and should be, and even if someone gives them a logical explanation on matters going on in the world or even their own community they still will not listen. Their opinion (what has been nailed into their brains as a child) is their opinion and no one, and no facts will change that. Where as people who live in bigger cities with alot of different cultures are more open minded and excepting of other peoples nationalities, sexual orientation and so on. I didn't know that there were still racist people in the world till i moved to Virginia and heard my ex boyfriends dad say something about running over niggers. I was appalled. As for Bush, i mean common, he's a ******* idiot. C average man running the country, where are the A average politicians? The war in Iraq is sad, it's making things worse for the United States...thanks Bush. The only thing i hate about Americans, or anyone for that nature, is ignorance.

President Bush doesn't deserve to be president.
The war in Iraq is pointless and a waste of money, time, and lives.
Americans in general are just like everyone else. We all have our different beliefs, customs, interests, and personalities. I can't really generalize a whole group of people like that.
I'm American, so I'm not really qualified to answer this question...

i think of that it shows that there are some African people that prefer to do extra suitable, yet they are able to't and there are some that may not do extra suitable. the nice and comfortable button is this, there are some African American neighborhoods that are doing properly, and you have some that at the instant are not. Its not plenty a race factor, because of the fact an identical might desire to be reported for white neighborhoods. There are some detrimental areas the place whites stay or perhaps Asians. Race isn't a ingredient here, yet what's a ingredient is that of type. you notice, everywhere in the U.S. there are sections of that are extra wealthier than others. It relies upon on the place you circulate, and the situations of those areas. this is been made out to be a race difficulty because of stereotypes that have lived on from the previous. even though if what many fail to realize is that poverty does not discriminate on race. it may take place to absolutely everyone. however the unhappy section is that African people get maximum persons of the detrimental coverage because it pertains to poverty. it is via the fact the media needs to concentration on in undemanding terms African people quite than tell the actuality one hundred%. what's real is that each and everyone races are liable to poverty or low income. even though if it relies upon on the persons motivation to have a extra suitable existence, and the techniques made. Its unhappy yet its the international we are residing in.

I'm American (natural-born):
My opinion is that we are (in *general*), fat, energy-wasting, environmentally destructive, greedy, god-fearing, idiotic workaholics who are paradoxically lazy when it comes to the things that matter.
My opinion of President Bush and the war in Iraq is a very bad one.
I hate that we are fat, energy-wasting, environmentally destructive, greedy workaholics. I hate the fact that we seem to favor video games over books and discipline over education.
I love the fact that during times of real crises, we can (and do) come together for the welfare of our fellow citizens. I love that there are such diverse communities throughout the country, and I love our dear First Amendment and our free-market economy, whereby the cliche American Dream can be realized. We also have pretty good sewer systems. Clean, running water is easy to come by, and if you've ever traveled outside the U.S., you know that it's a great thing. Also our entertainment industries are very entertaining.

I voted for President Buch and now I regret it. We have spent billions upon billions of dollars in a war that will always continue, no matter what we do. Our men/women are over there rebuilding right now. Their suicide bombers are over there blowing-up anything that we rebuild. How many American's have lost their lives in the last two years? How many American's are (here in America right now) starving and homeless?! How many children are being mistreated right now, here in America. Why couldn't we have used one of those "Billions" to help ourselves instead of getting involved. I am not very proud of America at the moment and I'm not very proud of President Bush. Also, I'm pretty mad about paying so much for gas and groceries.

1. A blind idiot. I'm sure he has lovely intentions (when he's not busy playing golf one on of his many vacations) but he also purposely blinds himself from public opinions.
1.5. Unneccessary, unfortunate, and only working to help spur on more and more terrorist attacks.
2. I hate that many Americans are so outrageouly conservative and immediately shut off as soon as you begin talking about something that doesn't follow their opinions.
However, I think they do a brilliant job finding humor in anything and the people in the larger, better known areas seem to be much more open and accepting of whatever comes their way.
