Simple acceptance as human beings. Not gay human beings or hetero human beings, just simply put, acceptance of each other as human beings.

World peace.
But human are made for conflict and there is that pesky free will thing we have going for us.

Straights must learn to accept gays for who they are NOT for who they date. Gays must realize that not everyone is comfortable with it and accept that fact, move on.

You cannot help who you fall in love with, of same or opposite sex. It doesn't matter because relationships/marriages are about love, not gender.

How many straights give relationship advice about having sex for love? How many gays give the SAME advice? All the morals and ethics are still there, orientation is the only difference between us.

Its not a sin, "God" would love all who serve him, and even those who trespass against him. Its not a crime, we can do and feel as we please. It is NOT wrong, for if it is, straights shouldn't be allowed to marry, because they are straight, if gays are not allowed to marry just because they are gay. It shouldn't matter because the LOVE is still there.

It shouldn't matter to anyone. Unfortunately it does.

The same thing it would take for blacks, whites, hispanics etc. to get along. The understanding that we ALL have the right to be here. I believe God has a plan for us all, and He knows why He put us on this earth. No one should question God's reason and His plan for us. Some people hold the name of the Lord in their hand like a gun ready to shoot anyone they see as different. Shame on anyone who uses God as a weapon to take away the freedom to love, which seems to be better than killing. But some people would rather kill than accept us as we are. I sleep very well knowing in my heart God is there for us all.

I've got no problem with straights in general. I only get upset when people have a problem with me for being bi or in a two-woman relationship. The willful ignorance needs to stop. I'd say some LGBT people are maybe a bit too harsh in their counterattacks, and some work too hard to shock straight people, but OMG, some straight people act all shocked and appalled because a prissy Republican woman in her late thirties with a responsible job and long-term partner is having a kid! (I'm talking about Mary Cheney.) If she excites outrage, what chance do the rest of us have?

In my opinion, massive education efforts for all straight people so that they realize, once and for all, that gay people do not threaten them or harm them in any way and that both groups just want the right to peacefully exist.

I don't see a whole lot of bashing, ignorance, intolerance, and bigotry from gay people which is why my opinion is stated the way that it is.

I think some of us just need to go back to school and learn that you dislike people for -who- they are, not -what- they are. If a guy is a total jerk and happens to be gay, dislike him because he's a jerk, not for his sexual orientation.

People just need to stop pre-judging. Not all people in a race or group are the same. Not all gays are the same, just like not all straights are the same.

Both gay and straights can get along better if they will see each other commonly as same specie belonging to mankind. Not measuring each other according to their own standard because both will be found wanting for nobody's perfect in this imperfect world we live in.

Some straight people need to be more compassionate towards gay people. I say some straight people because not all of them choose to show their stupidity, after everything is say and done we are all HUMAN BEINGS!

it's just sexual orientation. Most straight people(except my personal friends) I talk to that are against homosexuals are usually some religious freaks who have nothing better to do than hate others-usually because they are gay or bisexual themselves..otherwise the straight people that are my friends could care less that I'm gay
