It really depends on the type of person you are. I personally love walking around the Village around Washington Sq. Park. NYU is there so young people prevail. Anything below 14th street is cool. There are all kinds of shops, bars, restaurants and incredible street life. Also walk to SOHO and check out the downtown MOMA or galleries, shops etc that are upscale. Go to Dean and Deluca's or Balducchi's. Check out ABC Carpet and Home. Do some "Slumming" in the East Village. Go to an incredible cheap Indian restaurant in the E. Village, there are plenty of them and all good and cheap and an experience. If that doesn't suit you go to the uptown Museums, the best in the world. Catch a Broadway or off Broadway show, see a concert at Madison Square Garden or in Central Park or go to the Blue Note and take in a jazz band. Even if you are not into Jazz you will enjoy the atmosphere. NYC does not have to be too expensive. use guidebooks and study before going. Bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes.

Oh hell. You know it's me so you don't have to keep asking questions like this.lol. I'm not hiding and I never will. But to answer your question.There is nothing to do where I live.In New York City there is plenty to do, like the theatre and the statue of liberty.

are you flippin serious.In new york everything is fun.Go to brooklyn and go major shoppin.You get good stuff for very low prices.If its like for a vacation thing then vistet the statue of liberty.Take the ferry on station island.Its a beautiful view.And before you leave.....have some pizza.lol

It's funny I lived in N.Y. almost my whole life and I barely ever did anything the tourists do. Go to Manhattan. You'll fall in love with the city.

Or you can throw bread at he homeless people and watch them fight for the crumbs
